Gemma came to us with the initial idea of recording her band live on location at the Zimbabwe National Gallery. The plan was to shoot a music video for each song and record both the visuals and multi-track audio all at the same time. On visiting the venue we realized it was a non-starter as the acoustics were way too reverberant to capture good quality audio. On further discussion with Gemma we decided to get them into our more controlled studio environment, to rehearse and record the whole set prior to the video shoot. They were in and out in no time and we had a fun couple of hours recording this one. It’s always such a pleasure working with bands who come in well rehearsed and prepared.
