MMX sound studios were built towards the end of 2011 and this was one of the first notable album projects we recorded with the music legend Oliver Mtukudzi. We were so humbled by the experience and honored to work with such a musical talent and icon. Subsequent to that Oliver also came in for a number of other projects, including a song collaboration with Hugh Masekela. Seeing the two greats write and record ‘Tapera’ in the studio was a moment we won’t forget.
